PROJECT AWARD: Roy Hill Corporate Headquarters
PACT Construction are excited to announce our appointment as construction partner for Roy Hill's new headquarters…
The Clontarf Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which sought to transform the former Canning College Visual Arts Centre in Bentley into its new central office.
We undertook the project at cost, with suppliers and contractors providing goods and labour for free or at heavily discounted rates to help make the $1.4 million makeover happen. It was developed by Scatina Clocherty Architects.
The sloping ground of the site created large voids underneath the fence at the rear of the site. In conjunction with the fencing subcontractor, we developed a solution utilising taller sheets that run on an angle down the slope.
Situated within the Bentley education precinct and adjoining Curtin University, this new 487sqm headquarters includes office accommodation for 25 staff. The building also provides a base for regional staff from 55 locations across Australia when they are working in Perth.
The refurbishment included meeting rooms, staff hubs and an alfresco area, plus space on the 2,147sqm site for a landscaped area with a pavilion that can be used for the Clontarf Academy’s graduation ceremonies.
The refurbished building has given the foundation the space it so desperately needs to progress its plans, as well as extra facilities to enhance the programs that make such a difference to the lives of indigenous teenagers, their families and their communities.
