•  Deep sewer works were necessary to a depth of approximately 6m. This required us to close Bull Creek Road for 6 weeks. New manholes were installed adjacent to the deep sewer works, with some only one metre away from the existing Adventist buildings.
•  The lower level basement required extensive dewatering and waterproofing. Logistical programming and sequencing were required to ensure these works were carried out efficiently while protecting Yagan Park within the Bullcreek Wetlands adjacent to the site.
•  With floor-to-floor ceiling heights being kept to a minimum, there was extensive coordination of structure and services to facilitate this
•  Carrying out major construction works within a busy, operational aged care precinct was also a challenge for our team. Daily communications between PACT’s team and Adventist Aged Care along with forward planning were essential to ensure the smooth ongoing operation of the existing facility.
